Our Story

I started Active by GS with a simple idea: what you wear every day should feel good on your skin and be good for your skin. It should be clean for you and our planet.

What began as a search for better fabrics became a brand built on intention, thoughtful design, and pure materials chosen for how they feel and not just how they look.

I've learned something simple but very important through my research: Ingredients matter - in skincare, in food, and also in clothing. Because when you’re moving, sweating, living in it all day, your fabric becomes part of your skin.

I love what I do and have had so much fun creating this brand and hope you will enjoy our products too. We hope that you are also as proud as us of the fact that, together as a collective group who love to be sustainable, we can contribute towards preserving our Earth, the planet we call home through the sustainable choices we make.

We're OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GOTS certified. This means our dyes and fabrics are tested to be free from harmful substances such as azo dyes, formaldehydes, and heavy metals, and meet strict environmental and ethical standards throughout production.

We support ethical suppliers and sustainable practices with the utmost care taken in not harming the planet we live, walk and breathe in. We source all raw materials from suppliers who are Oeko-Tex and GOTS certified, which means you or your skin are not exposed to harmful chemicals.
